HB2889 by Martinez, "Mando" (Relating to liability of ambulance service providers for certain occurrences.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code relating to the liability of an ambulance service provider. An ambulance service provider that is involved in a motor vehicle accident while providing services would be liable for the total amount of economic damages or $250,000.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
