No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure related to the time-frame a victim may submit a claim for victim compensation with the Office of the Attorney General (OAG). The OAG indicates that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
