HB3003 by Homer (Relating to the creation and dissolution of a bail bond board by the commissioners court of certain counties.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code to add to the requirement for creating a bail bond board in a county with a population of less than 110,000 that the commissioners court must approve the creation by majority vote. The bill would also establish procedures for the commissioners court to dissolve the bail bond board.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
