No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would establish the terms for the renewal of a license or registration of air conditioning or refrigeration technicians. The bill would require the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to adopt rules to align existing rules with the provisions of the bill.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicates the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by using existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
