IN RE:
HB3057 by Castro (Relating to the use by a metropolitan rapid transit authority of the construction manager-at-risk method for the construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of a facility.), As Engrossed
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Section 271.118, Local Government Code, to authorize a metropolitan rapid transit authority to use the construction manager-at-risk method for construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of a facility.
Local Government Impact
Authorizing another option in method for construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of a facility would allow a metropolitan rapid transit authority more flexibility in selecting the most cost-effective method for a project, and would therefore have a positive fiscal impact. The fiscal impact would vary by project.
