No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under provisions of the bill, if an institution of higher education requires a student to enroll in developmental coursework, the institution must offer the student the option of enrolling in developmental coursework in an intensive or compressed format that allows the student to enroll in developmental courses without substantially conflicting with other coursework or the student’s overall academic progress. The bill would be implemented within existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
