No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code regarding court procedures, appeals, filing fees, and court costs related to advanced directives or health care or treatment decisions made by or on behalf of patients. The bill would prohibit assessing a filing fee or court cost for any proceeding in a trial or appellate court under Section 166.0465, added by the bill.
