The bill would amend the Local Government Code relating to the enforcement of certain development regulations in a justice court. The bill would provide that jurisdiction over offenses relating to development regulations in Hood County be moved from district court to a local justice court.

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
