IN RE:
HB3567 by Madden (Relating to energy savings performance contracts.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and require the State Energy Conservation Office to evaluate the claims made by offerors of such contracts by requiring an offeror to use specially designed test equipment to verify the savings with regard to energy savings performance contracts. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
