No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require a county clerk to send by electronic mail certain financial statement forms if requested by the person seeking the forms that they be sent electronically. The forms apply to filings by candidates for various elected local offices.

Local Government Impact

If a county clerk has electronic mail capabilities, the provision of the bill would provide a savings.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
