IN RE:
HB3606 by Anderson (Relating to election through secret ballot of a labor union as the exclusive bargaining representative.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code to provide that the election of a labor union as the exclusive bargaining representative of employees in an appropriate bargaining unit must be done by secret ballot. The Office of the Attorney General indicates that any costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
