No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 252 of the Local Government Code to allow a person who submitted for a contract for which the competitive sealed bidding requirement applies, regardless of residency, if the contract is for the construction of public works, to enjoin the contract.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
