No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code relating to a finding that offense was sexually motivated.  The bill would require a court to make an affirmative finding of fact in certain cases involving disorderly conduct and related offenses if the court determines that the offense was committed with sexual motivation as defined.  To the extent the bill would amend court procedures in certain cases, no effect on judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
