No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code, Chapter 662 by adding public security officers to the list of the Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers who can earn holiday compensatory time for holidays that fall on the weekend. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
DPS anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the agency.
