LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 81ST LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

May 1, 2009

TO:
Honorable Jim McReynolds, Chair, House Committee on Corrections

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB3880 by Miklos (Relating to the payment of certain costs and expenses of a juvenile case manager. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to allow a court to pay certain expenses of the juvenile case manager from the juvenile case manager fund.

Local Government Impact

The bill would allow additional uses of existing funds; therefore, there would be no fiscal impact unless those expenses are currently being paid by the court out of another fund, in which case the court would experience a savings in that fund.
