HB4006 by Hardcastle (Relating to veterinarian reports of diseased animals.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The legislation requires veterinarians, veterinary diagnostic laboratories and/or persons having care, custody or control of livestock, exotic livestock, bison, domestic or exotic fowl to report certain diseases to the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) within 24 hours of diagnosis. If enacted this legislation is not expected to have a significant fiscal impact on TAHC operations.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
