HB4093 by Farrar (Relating to the appointment of the director of the governor's office of homeland security.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the governor with the advice and consent of the Senate to appoint a director of the governor’s office of homeland security.  The term of the director would be for two years and the director would be eligible for reappointment.  The bill would be effective immediately if it receives two-thirds vote or on September 1, 2009.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
