No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Government Code and require the State Energy Conservation Office to establish and administer a program to make and guarantee no-interest loans to small businesses, places of worship, and individuals for projects related to renewable energy technology. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
