No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and require a governing body, when submitting credit agreement proceedings for an interest management rate agreement to the Office of the Attorney General for review, to submit an affidavit certifying certain requirements for entering into an interest rate management agreement. Any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
