No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would void any order that was issued by the Commission on Environmental Quality dismissing a municipality’s application with prejudice that was filed in connection to provisions in the Water Code relating to utility service in areas annexed or incorporated. The bill would only apply to a municipality with a population of 3,000 in a county with a population under 20,000 located in the San Antonio River Basin.
