No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would make changes to the required process for prescribing the method by which natural gas pipelines conduct mandatory public awareness briefings. The bill would allow an operator that has been unable to arrange a meeting in person to conduct liaison activities to do so either by holding a telephone conference with the appropriate officials or by delivering the community liaison information by certified mail, return receipt requested.

No significant fiscal impact to the Railroad Commission is expected.
