IN RE: | HB4332 by Hamilton (Relating to the certification of certain municipal police officers to enforce commercial motor vehicle safety standards.), As Introduced |
Based on the population and geographical criteria within the bill, it appears it would affect only the City of Vidor.
The Department of Public Safety provides the training and certification for law enforcement officers to enforce commercial motor vehicle safety standards. However, based on the agency's analysis, there would be no fiscal impact to the state.
