IN RE: | HB4407 by Taylor (Relating to rules concerning administration and maintenance of anaphylaxis medicine on public school campuses.), As Engrossed |
This bill would require the Commissioner of Education to adopt rules relating to procedures, standing orders, and the supply of anaphylaxis medicine to be maintained at a school campus with a school nurse. The Texas Education Agency estimates that this cost would be absorbed within existing resources.
Costs for school districts to implement the bill’s requirements concerning procedures, standing orders, and maintenance of a supply of anaphylaxis medicine at each campus with a school nurse could vary but are not expected to be significant on a statewide basis.
