HB4543 by Raymond (Relating to a cost-of-living increase in compensation for district court judges.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize county commissioners courts to pay district court judges a cost-of-living increase not to exceed 10 percent of the judge's combined salary from state and county sources. Money for the increase would come from the county and not from the state. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
