No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $90,882.


The bill proposes a constitutional amendment to be submitted to the voters on November 3, 2009 that requires approval by two-thirds of all the members of each house of the legislature for any proposed increase in the franchise tax rate to take effect.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
