No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $90,882.

The bill would make a commissioner of the Railroad Commisssion ineligible to become a candidate for another office, state or federal, unless the eligibility requirements for other office are prescribed exclusively by the state or federal constitution. To become a candidate for another office, a sitting commissioner would be required to resign from the Railroad Commission.
