SB38 by Zaffirini (Relating to considering school district disciplinary placement information for accountability purposes.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the addition of data related to disciplinary actions taken by school districts in the Texas Education Agency's Academic Excellence Indicators System and would require that school districts include this information in the campus report cards distributed to school districts by TEA.

TEA has indicated the provisions of the bill could be accommodated within existing resources.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
