No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would add other juvenile justice services to the list of entities affected by the Human Resources Code, Title 10. The bill would require the Juvenile Probation Commission to adopt minimum standards for juvenile case managers similar to those of juvenile probation officers. The standards would include a code of ethics, minimum education requirements, and minimum training standards.
