IN RE:
SB66 by Nelson (Relating to health care coverage for children in Title IV-D cases.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code related to health care coverage for children within the child support program (Title IV-D) and require the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) to develop and implement a statewide program to address the health care needs of children in Title IV-D cases. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
