IN RE:
SB201 by Shapleigh (relating to the participation of the medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso in the Joint Admission Medical Program.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The provisions of the bill would include the Texas Tech University Health Science's Center Medical School at El Paso to participate in the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP) and allow the medical school to select an appropriate faculty member to represent it on the JAMP Council. It is estimated that they would incur travel costs associated with participating on the council.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
