IN RE:
SB283 by Nelson (Relating to the membership and activities of local school health advisory councils.), As Passed 2nd House

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

Costs for school districts could vary in implementing the bill’s requirements that local school health advisory councils (SHACs) meet four times a year and submit written, detailed, and timely reports including written notice to parents of each student of the board of trustees' decision regarding whether the district will provide human sexuality instruction to district students.

These costs are not expected to be significant.
