No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would alter notice requirements when the state, a governmental agency of the state, or a charitable organization is named as a devisee in a written will that has been admitted to probate. This bill would make conforming changes to the Texas Probate Code and repeal Section 128A of the Texas Probate Code.
