SB683 by Wentworth (Relating to the recusal or disqualification of a statutory probate court judge and subsequent assignment of another judge.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to add procedures to the requirements involved in assigning a judge to hear a case in a statutory probate court when a judge is recused or disqualified. The same compensation would apply to a judge otherwise assigned under statute, except that the assigned judge would be required to provide certain information.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
