No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to disclosure of the individual vote of each member of the Texas Supreme Court on a petition for review. The bill would require the Supreme Court to state how each justice of the court voted on a petition for review. To the extent the bill would amend court procedure, the rules change is not anticipated to increase the workload of the Supreme Court. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
