IN RE:
SB786 by Nelson (Relating to the protection of children from abuse and neglect.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Department of Family and Protective Services to satisfy the court that certain conditions have been met in order to obtain a temporary restraining order in a suit for the removal of an alleged perpetrator from the home of a child. The agency indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
