No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the regulation of premium rates for long-term care insurance. The bill would require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to adopt rules relating to the provisions of the bill. TDI indicates that any costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
