IN RE:
SB1047 by Lucio (Relating to the procurement methods authorized for public projects by a combined municipally owned electric, water, and wastewater utility situated in an economically distressed area within 30 miles of the Lower Texas Gulf Coast.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize the use of design-build procedures for construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of projects undertaken by a municipally owned combined utility (electric, water, and wastewater) located in an economically distressed area within 30 miles of the Lower Texas Gulf Coast.

Local Government Impact

The fiscal impact would depend on the number and scope of projects.
