No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend permit test results to be released to a county or district court for compliance with rules related to the control and treatment of communicable diseases. The bill also would permit a county or district court judge to issue a protective order limiting disclosure of a test result before the information is entered as evidence or released in a court proceeding.

Local Government Impact

The costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill are not anticipated to be significant.
