No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to allow an action related to a violation of a municipal health and safety ordinance to be filed in a justice court of the county in which the conduct has occurred or is occuring or the condition or structure is located. Provisions of the bill prescribe the procedures for a hearing and appeal in a justice court.
