No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code to provide exemptions from certain mandated benefit requirements for supplemental or limited coverage health benefit plans. Based on analysis provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, any costs associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
