Under the provisions of the bill, institutions of higher education that offer a degree program in architecture would be required to offer a course in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System as a requisite for a degree in architecture.
It is assumed institutions of higher education would be able to absorb any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill within existing resources.
