SB1526 by Shapleigh (Relating to the composition, administration, and duties, including reporting requirements, of the Border Health Institute.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would change functions and membership of the Border Health Institute. The bill would also require each member of the institute to submit a long-term strategic plan to each member of the legislature whose district includes any portion of a county where the Border Health Institute is established or operating and the Higher Education Coordinating Board. Provisions of the bill would be implemented within existing resources.
