No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to require in-casket identification of a deceased person. The bill would allow the Funeral Service Commission to adopt rules to enforce the requirements of the bill. Based on analysis provided by the agency, it is anticipated that any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
