SB1562 by Shapleigh (Relating to contracts entered into for the employment of the chief executive officer of a public institution of higher education.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under the provisions of the bill, institutions of higher education would be required to include annual evaluations with specific performance measures in employment contracts of presidents or other chief executive officers.

It is assumed institutions of higher education would be able to absorb any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill within existing resources.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
