No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow the Court Reporters Certification Board to receive criminal history record information (CHRI) that is the subject of an order of non-disclosure. The bill would also allow the Court Reporters Certification Board to conduct criminal history background checks. It has been determined that costs associated with implementing the bill would not be significant.
