No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit a third party located in this state from refusing, without reasonable cause, to honor a durable power of attorney properly executed in accordance with Chapter XII of the Texas Probate Code, including a statutory durable power of attorney.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
