No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would increase efficiency standards for plumbing fixtures sold for use in the state. The efficiency standards would correspond with the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense brand.
Any costs to the Commission on Environmental Quality in implementing the provisions of the bill are not expected to be significant. Likewise, any revenue increases resulting from plumbing fixture fees paid by manufacturers as a result of the need to list new fixture models is not expected to be significant.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
