SB1692 by Wentworth (Relating to the confidentiality of certain personal information concerning current and former employees of certain divisions of the office of the attorney general.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to provide that certain persons may elect to withhold from disclosure their personal information when that information is maintained by a non-employing governmental body. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
