No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business and Commerce Code to include the appropriate reference to the definition of franchise in the Code of Federal Regulations.  The bill would be effective on September 1, 2009.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
