SB1703 by Fraser (Relating to methods of delivery used by the secretary of state.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Secretary of State (SOS) when required by law to make a delivery using registered or certified mail to use an alternative method of delivery if SOS determines that it provides a similar level of accountability, timeliness, security, and quality of service.  The bill would be effective September 1, 2009.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
